FULL MOON IN PISCES WITH LUNAR ECLIPSE*

NEW MOON + PARTIAL SOLAR ECLIPSE IN VIRGO

This is no ordinary New Moon. It's a solar eclipse at the final degree of Virgo, which is a powerful threshold moment.

We usually set intentions and manifest with the New Moon, but when it’s paired with an eclipse, the work is not to manifest, but to listen. They are wild cards of soul evolution, when the veil thins and deeper forces can move through us. The final degree of Virgo speaks to completion, refinement, and sacred service. Something is being purified here to be even more real.

Virgo is the Priestess, the embodiment of the sacred through the physical. She is a temple keeper. A weaver of wholeness. A vessel of spiritual integrity. This eclipse marks a collective invitation to refine how we serve and why.

Questions to reflect:

• Where am I leaking energy through perfectionism or people-pleasing?

• What routines or systems want to be composted, so new rituals of devotion can be born?

VENUS AT THE CHAKRA GATES

Venus is our Sacred Feminine planet, and right now she is in the Morning Star phase of her 19-month cycle. Her cycle perfectly mirrors the ancient Sumerian myth of the Queen of Heaven and Earth, Inanna, who descends into the Underworld, dies, and is reborn. Each month, at the Moon-Venus conjunction, Inanna passes through a gate where she removes a ceremonial vestment, representing a symbol of shedding an old layer of identity. These gates are initiations, inviting us to release what no longer serves so we can reclaim the truth of our soul.

• August 20: Gate of Personal Power (Solar Plexus) - This gate is the release of false power, control, performance, overdrive, in exchange for authentic inner radiance. Inanna puts down her lapis measuring rod. She lets go of external metrics of success. The invitation here is: Will you give up the illusion of control in order to reclaim your soul’s vitality?
  

• September 19: Gate of Creativity (Sacral Chakra) - Inanna removes her ring of power. She surrenders attachments to outcomes, letting herself be emptied of old creative identities. This is a deep alchemical gate where we release creative distortion, shame, or misused energy, and begin to remember our sacred generativity. Ask yourself: Where is my creative life-force ready to be rewilded? What desires feel true now?
  

• October 19: Seventh Gate of Life Force Energy (Root Chakra) - Inanna removes her royal robe. She surrenders the final layer of identity, laying bare her connection to life itself. This is the Root Chakra gate, where we release fear, survival patterns, and attachments to security that no longer serve our soul. Here, we meet the raw pulse of life force energy and remember that our true safety is rooted in the Great Mother. Ask yourself: Where am I ready to trust life completely? What old survival stories am I ready to lay down?
  

• November 18: Eighth Gate Death by Intent - Inanna steps fully into the Underworld. Here, there are no more garments to remove…she is stripped bare before her sister, Ereshkigal (who kills her). This is not a death that comes by chance, but one chosen with sacred intent. It is the willing release of who we have been so that something truer can be born. At this gate, we surrender the last threads of ego identity and offer ourselves to the mystery, trusting that descent is part of the rebirth. Ask yourself: What am I ready to let die in me, so that my soul may live more fully?
  

• November 25: Inanna in the Underworld - Venus is hidden in the sky. She will rise again on February 17, 2026, reborn, as Evening Star.
  

These Venus Gates are a map, but the descent is something you live. It’s the unraveling of what no longer serves, the sacred shedding of old skins. With each gate, you step closer to the truest expression of who you are.

The months ahead carry both tenderness and intensity. Thresholds that call for presence, patience, and trust in your own timing. Whether you are in a season of release, initiation, or quiet tending, remember that you are part of a much larger pattern.

Let these lunar cycles, eclipses, and Venus gates be companions for your journey. Return to them when you need perspective. Move with them as you would a trusted rhythm.
